 was born in Providence, Rhode Island, & grew up in Massachusetts. I served in the US Army and even performed vocally for the 312 MI BN, 1CD on Fort Hood, TX, to put on a Christmas show in 1996. I have 3 grown children. I have loved playing or performing music since I was 8

WHERE DID YOU FIRST HEAR BLUEGRASS?

The first time that I heard Bluegrass was when I was on a date with my beloved and he took me to a show he was performing in.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THE MUSIC?

There are so many things I love about the music. I love the history behind the words to the songs, the upbeat tempo of the banjo and the drama of a resonator guitar. I love how this music brings so many together, like one big family.

WHO IS SOMEONE YOU WOULD LOVE TO PICK WITH?

I would love to pick with Ralph Stanley, he is one of my favorite bluegrass musicians.
